Lake Blackshear

The club went down to Lake Blackshear this past weekend, February 11, 2012 to fish a club tournament. It started off a mildly calm day, in the lower 40's with a high of mid 50's. Towards the end of the day we ended up with sustained winds around 24 mph which made for an extremely tough day on the water.

Coming in first place was Casey with a two fish sac weighing in at around 9.5lbs. Chris K. came in second place with a two fish sac weighing in at around 5lbs. Chris H. brought up the rest of the field with a one fish limit weighing in a little more than a pound. Casey also won big fish for the day with his bass weighing in at 6.5lbs.

It was a tough day and the limits showed it. We are all looking forward to next months tournament at Clarks Hill.
